We give our help and advice to farmers, estates, private land owners, forestry and Wildlife Trusts.

About us
Since 2017 we have been offering effective and ethical deer management services on and around Dartmoor National Park and supply high quality wild venison to our local community.
Our deer manager is fully insured and holds nationally recognised qualifications in deer management.
Our deer management services are free of charge although we do ask for a percentage of venison to be retained by us.
Affinity Deer Management are genuinely interested in deer welfare and have a real commitment to wildlife management.
Teign Valley Venison is proud to provide high quality, ethically sourced wild venison to discerning customers who really care about the provenance of their food. Our deerstalker has DSC1 and DSC2, both nationally recognised Deer Management Qualifications.
Good deer management is essentially conservation work which results in a healthy deer population in balance with the
environment. With that philosophy to guide us and with deer welfare as our first priority, we take every possible care to bring you healthy, wild venison from the beautiful Teign valley
Our aim is to provide assistance with all deer related problems.
On an initial visit we will assess the problem and discuss what strategy we may need to adopt to meet your requirements.
The aim of most management plans is to reduce the population of deer to a level that the area can sustain without further damage to woodland or agricultural produce, so that the remaining deer population is healthy and no longer a burden to the landowner.
We always carry out a thorough site-risk assessment of each area and utilise high seats where needed.
We then make regular visits as required to quickly establish control and make sure that the management plan is being effective.
We keep in touch with you the landowner to make sure that you are up to date with the plan and that you are happy with our work.
Affinity Deer Services
We offer a range of professional deer consultancy and ecological services. Clients include some of the UK's largest heritage and nature conservation charities, (Woodland Trust and National Trust), as well as private estates, farmers and forestry or small woodland owners.
